St.Thomas Province
Est. in 1979

The St.Thomas province is dedicated to St. Thomas the apostle of India. It was made to a province in 1979 during VIII general chapter. Bro.Salvador Puthukkatt was the first Provincial. Province was bifurcated and made a new region (St. John De Britto Region) in Tamilnadu in the year 2004. In the year 2004, the IX Provincial ChapterBro.Dennis Thekkeparambil was elected as provincial for a term of three years. At present there are 77 brothers and 15 Communities in the Province. The activities of St. Thomas Province are spread over 9 dioceses.Patron
