St. Paul's Province Est. in 1997
St.Paul’s Province, formerly known as St. Paul’s Region (North East India) was established in 1997 as decided by the XI General Chapter. This historic event was formally announced on 29th June 1997 on the feast day of St. Paul. The activities of the Province are spread over in four Dioceses in the states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Karnataka and Meghalaya. At present the Province 54 Brothers and 12 Communities. During the third Provincial Chapter in 2004 Bro. James Mavelil was ekected Provincial for a term of three years.
