St.Joseph's Province
Est. in 1979

The Northern Province has St.Joseph as its Patron. It was raised to the status of a province in 1979 during the 8th General Chapter. Bro. Fidelis Edattel was the first Provincial. The provinced has at present 90 Bro and 18 Communities spread over Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Orissa, Punjab and West Bengal states in 14 Dioceses. In the IX Provincial Chapter in 2004 Bro. Vincent Philip was once again elected Provincial for a team of three years.
